I want to know so I can figure out which version of the GOP. GOP today? Or GOP 20 years ago?
I could have gotten behind the GOP 20 years ago.
A lot was different 20 years ago. Newt Gingrich and the Republican Revolution didn't happen yet. Russia was the bad guy, we were good, and the only thing we really fought about were taxes and the national debt. Which was some Hundred Trillion dollars ago.
Hell, even I liked Bush senior back then, though I was supporting Dukkakis even at that young age.
