Thanksgiving!

So we just had our first Thanksgiving(s) as a married couple!! (Mike hates when I say stuff like that, haha). Every year we tend to split it between families. And of course, we did the same this year. We spent early in the day in Brighton wiht Mikes side. We had some deep fried turkey. It was sooooo yummy. It's becoming my favorite way of cooking turkey. And of course we had the traditional thanksgiving sides and such. All soo good. It was Mike's grandma's bday as well, so a double celebration. Good times.

Then later in the night, we went up to Shelby Twp for yet more turkey at my parents. This time, it was roasted turkey. Good stuff as well. On top of the usual, we had filipino food of course (pansit, egg rolls, etc). Yum. Let's just say we ate way too much!! But all in all, it was a good thanksgiving! Hope everyone else's was just as good.

Here's a peek at mike getting ready for dinner:

Spartans go BOWLING!!!

The one and only game I go to was this Saturday, oh did I pick the right one!!!! It was extremely cold mind you, my toes are still grumpy from the cold! I almost decided to leave after the fourth quarter, thank god for that late TD, to keep me reeled in!!!! OK, I know there not going to a top bowl, but its something. A little of me wants them go to the Motor city bowl(cause we could actually go), but the smart thing is a little bigger bowl. Anyways, I digress, THEY WON IN COMEBACK FASHION!!!! Ok, it might be a little premature, I'm excited for this coach, and the coming years. To top it off, poor lil'ole "BIG BROTHER" lost again!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!! Oh, such a good day!!!!

Back and Married!!

So we're back from Traverse City...now a married couple. These 2 weeks have gone by way too fast. It's been a great time though. To recap:

The bachelorette party was wonderful. We went to dinner at Traffic Jam in Detroit. Slow service, great food, good times. Afterwards, we headed to Canada for some fun and games. Spending time with the girls was great. Thanks to them all :)

Rehearsal Dinner was the Wed before the wedding. Talk about a long rehearsal. Well, I guess that's what you get when your dealing with 36 people. It went pretty smoothly for the most part. I started out with 1 church planner and ended up with 4. Plus on top of it all, the filipino ladies wanted to put their input into the whole thing, of course.

Friday night....Wedding. I was so antsy in the morning, I couldn't sleep well. On top of it, I was kind of sick. Started my week with a sore throat. By the time Friday came by, I was sort of feeling better, but I was coughing. So I was drinking robitussin like water. Luckily, I did get through the day pretty much cough-free. Spent the morning getting hair/makeup done. Once I did get my dress on, everything was like a blur. PIctures everywhere. All in all, everything went perfect. We did forget the ring bearer pillow, but made a proxy from one of the girls' shawls. Everyone showed up that needed to show up. It as great. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I just hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Considering the after-wedding party, I think they did. haha.

Lastly, we spent our honeymoon up in Traverse City for some rest and relaxation. The first 2 days we were up there, we were exhausted. We got massages and facials (even Michael) haha. Did some of the wine tours and came back with 2 boxes of wine. Did some siteseeing. Will post pictures soon. It was a good time. Now I don't want to go back to work.

Tonight, we have yet another wedding to go to. That should be fun. Then I go back to work tomorrow. Those are pretty much how are 2 weeks went by. Now it's time to get back to normal life. Normal Married Life :)
